An unconvincing Win
The Seagulls were 15th last season and Graham Potter's Brighton Hove & Albion might take inspiration from their arch rival - Crystal Palace. The Red Devils lost to Crystal palace in their season opener and Brighton would have wanted to repeat the feat. It would have been tad harsh on Bruno Fernandez today but nevertheless it is the second instance in this season that OGS' men have conceded a penalty in a game. But for the two off sides, the game would have been a 5 -2 and the score line looked a bit more convincing than what it looked like in the end. Having said this, the 2 close shaves with the attempts hitting the wood work twice was a saving grace for the depleting pride of De Gea. A score line of 3 - 4 would have been a far more depressing than 3 - 2. This is the most clueless football I have seen from Manchester United after the David Moyes era.
